Community involvement has always been important to me. As a REALTOR® in Crystal Beach, I believe my job goes far beyond helping people buy and sell real estate. It also means supporting the people, schools and organizations that make the Bolivar Peninsula such a special place.
Recently, I joined Kim Young with the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to welcome High Island ISD Superintendent Misti Smith to our community.

High Island ISD is an important part of the Bolivar Peninsula. The district educates our children and supports local families. It also helps prepare the next generation of community leaders.
Strong schools help create strong communities. Therefore, it is important for local businesses and community organizations to support our educators, students and families.

It was a pleasure meeting Superintendent Smith and welcoming her to the peninsula. I look forward to learning more about her goals for High Island ISD.
