Market Update for the past 7 days

This week has been a busy week along the Bolivar Peninsula.

Comparing to last week:

The new properties on the market has more than doubled,  the number of properties that have reduced their price has stayed about the same about 15-20 on average each week.  We had quite an increase of properties that went under contract from 2 last week to 8 this week.  The amount of properties that actually made it across the finish line has increased by one over last week.

The second slide focuses only on single family residences:

The number of homes that are currently active is about the same as last week 178.  The average price per foot on the market is $412 which is a up from  last week.  Good news for sellers the average price per foot for solds from last week has increased from $386 to $401.  And the average number of days homes are staying on the market before going under contract has decreased from 53 last week to 43 this week.
