Market Update for the past 7 days

You would think things would slow down for the Holidays , but things have heated up a little on the Peninsula.

Compared to last week we had less properties new on the market. The number of properties that have reduced their price  decreased from 18 to 5.  We had quite an increase of properties that went under contract stayed about the same.  The amount of properties that actually made it across the finish line has increased by five over last week.

The second slide focuses only on single family residences:

The number of homes that are currently active decreased from last week to 171.  The average price per foot on the market is $434 which is a up from  last week.  Good news for sellers the average price per foot for solds from last week has decreased  from $401 to $362.  And the average number of days homes are staying on the market before going under contract has increased from 43 last week to 50 this week.
